On the Way to La Crosse, Wisconsin

We had a really nice day to do some traveling. We decided to travel about 1 hour north along the Mississippi River to La Crosse, WI. I went to college there, so it was fun to see again.

This is the bridge across the Mississippi to Lansing, Iowa.


Lansing, Iowa is the home of Horsfall's Five and Dime. This store is a huge store full of a bunch of stuff. The clerks know where everything is, even though stuff is piled everywhere.


After a delicious lunch at Culvers (I finally got some fried cheese curds and custard, mmm) we made it to Granddad's bluff in La Crosse. Here's a picture of me and John at the top along with an overview of the city:
