Callantsoog

Callantsoog is a small village located on the North Sea.  John and I stopped here after dropping my parents off at the Amsterdam airport.  It was pretty empty when we got there, about 10 AM, and by the time we left at 2 PM, the village was packed with day trippers.

Here's a view of the town from a dune and a picture of a 16th century church.

John and I managed to dip our tootsies in to the North Sea.  Now my tootsies have been in the Atlantic ocean, Pacific ocean, Mediterranean Sea, and the North Sea.

And finally, a picture of the really nice beach.  There were quite a few little places to get some snacks and drinks on the beach.
